Vertu Nissan Halifax - NO SUNDAY WORKING

At our Vertu Nissan Halifax dealership, we are currently recruiting for an experienced leader to join our team as a General Sales Manager. We are offering a £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £65,000 plus company car and company benefits.

Duties
  • Lead and manage a controlled sales process through a team including Business Managers, Sales Executives, and support colleagues
  • Become a Nissan ambassador, build and maintain relationships with the brand to improve new car performance
  • Drive performance through regular coaching, robust management, and strong day‑to‑day leadership
  • Maintain constant customer interaction, with first and second facing activity at the heart of the role
  • Support and develop the team to sell new and used vehicles, along with a range of add‑on products including finance
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered at all times
  • Manage all sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales performance
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards across all sales activity
  • Utilise the dealership’s loyal customer base and wide regional catchment to drive volume, develop the team and deliver consistently strong results

We are looking for a very talented, experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry. You will have a clear ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability, and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives.

You will demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
