Service Manager – Adult Social Care

We are looking for a Service Manager to join our senior leadership team. The role focuses primarily on hospital reablement and in‑house service provision. You will work alongside two existing Service Managers covering other areas within the Directorate.

• Lead and develop high‑performing social care teams.
• Deliver best social care practice, focusing on performance and finance.
• Manage social care budgets and develop innovative approaches to use public funds effectively.
• Nurture relationships with external partners to keep residents at the heart of all services.
• Champion staff development and strengths‑based, community‑led practice.

• Proven experience in leading and developing social care teams.
• Strong background in managing social care budgets and financial stewardship.
• Commitment to staff development, strengths‑based practice and community‑led approaches.
• Experience in safeguarding, promoting welfare for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
• Relevant DBS certification required where applicable.
