- The Role

We are looking for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner for our client based in the Halifax area. The candidate must have experience in working with woodworking machinery and power tools. This role is a permanent position and suits a Bench Hand Joiner that is looking for something long-term.

Bench Hand Joiner – Responsibilities

- To manufacture joinery work on secured works orders.

- Ensure that all the work is performed in accordance with the requirements of health and safety and other relevant legislation company guidelines.

- Use of power tools and woodworking machinery.

- Completion of projects to company deadlines.

Bench Hand Joiner - Requirements

- Must have experience in a workshop environment.

- Must be able to understand and read drawings.

- Must have at least 2+ years experience in the role.

- The candidate ideally will have experience using woodworking machinery and power tools.

- Must be able to understand production schedules.

- Must have an understanding of raw materials including properties and applications.

- Ideally must have qualifications within joinery.
