Production Manager

A growing UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and develop its production operation through a major growth phase.

This is a senior, hands‑on role with responsibility for the full production process, team leadership, quality, health & safety, and cost control. The position offers genuine long‑term progression into senior operational leadership.

• Manage the full production lifecycle from order intake to dispatch
• Plan and schedule production to meet delivery deadlines
• Lead, develop, and motivate production teams
• Control labour, material, and overhead costs
• Ensure high standards of quality and health & safety
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Support the introduction of new products and equipment

• Proven experience as a Production / Manufacturing Manager
• Background in doors, windows, uPVC, composite products, or related manufacturing
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Experience controlling production costs and budgets
• Hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

• Fenestration, uPVC, or composite door manufacturing experience
• Lean / continuous improvement exposure
• ERP / MRP system experience
