Position: SENOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN MANAGER - HEALTHCARE

We're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Manager to play a pivotal role on the transformation of Calderdale Royal Hospital
. This is a rare opportunity to influence a major healthcare scheme from early design through to delivery, ensuring safe, efficient and future‑ready environments for patients and clinicians alike.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the electrical design strategy from pre‑construction through to delivery
  • Acting as a key interface between client, consultants, and delivery teams
  • Driving design optimisation
    , ensuring solutions are efficient, compliant and buildable
  • Owning design programmes, coordination and reporting across all phases
  • Leading collaborative design reviews and technical challenge sessions to reduce risk
  • Supporting construction, commissioning and handover of critical systems
What you'll bring
  • Strong experience delivering MEP / electrical design on complex projects
    , ideally healthcare or similarly regulated sectors
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of design governance, risk and statutory compliance
  • Passion for innovation, modern methods and digital engineering
  • Degree in an engineering discipline and ideally chartered status
