Production Operative

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Halifax area.

The company manufactures specialist products supplied into the construction, trade and industrial sectors and is looking to grow its production team due to continued demand.

This is a varied, hands-on role that will involve working across different stages of the manufacturing process. Duties may include weighing and mixing raw materials, operating production equipment, filling and packaging products, quality checking finished goods, and preparing orders ready for dispatch.

The ideal candidate will have previous production or manufacturing experience and be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment where quality and attention to detail are key.

Hours Available:

Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
Monday to Thursday – 6:00am to 4:30pm

Duties:
Weighing and measuring raw materials accurately
Mixing products in line with production specifications
Operating production and filling equipment
Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process
Labelling, packaging and palletising finished products
Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting warehouse and dispatch functions when required
Following all health and safety procedures

Skills:

Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and production specifications
Comfortable with manual handling duties
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
