Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN/RMN) – £52,000 - Nursing Home – Permanent

This modern, purpose-built nursing home combines warm, well-designed living spaces with established clinical systems and landscaped gardens used daily by residents and staff. The Deputy Nurse Manager holds a senior clinical leadership role, supporting the Home Manager while providing hands‑on oversight of dementia and complex nursing care.

• This role requires senior nursing experience within a nursing home setting.
• Applicants must be confident overseeing dementia care, safeguarding, and clinical risk.
• This position is not suitable for nurses without leadership or deputy‑level experience.

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC registration
• Senior nursing experience
  , such as Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, or Deputy Nurse Manager
• Proven experience in nursing home and dementia care
• Strong track record managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk
• Experience contributing to service development or quality improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with electronic care planning systems

• Monitor standards of care delivered by nursing and care staff
• Support the Home Manager with policy implementation and operational objectives
• Oversee safeguarding concerns, clinical risk assessments, and investigations
• Ensure residents’ care plans are accurate, current, and reflective of need
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Contribute to staff development, supervision, and clinical guidance
