Policy & Research Manager
Location:
Cambridge (Hybrid) Salary: £32,000 £ 37,000 (DOE)
Contract:
Full-Time, Permanent We are currently partnering with a not-for-profit organisation in Cambridge who are seeking an experienced Policy & Research Manager to join their team on a full-time, hybrid basis. Main duties will include:
Managing policy and research projects from planning through to successful delivery Coordinating work with universities, funders, policymakers and external partners across the UK and Europe Undertaking evidence reviews, desk research and analysis to inform policy and strategic recommendations Producing policy briefings, reports, guidance and resources for a range of audiences Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, representing the organisation at meetings, workshops and sector events Designing and facilitating workshops, engagement activities and advisory groups Supporting the delivery of European-funded projects and collaborative initiatives Contributing to funding bids, proposal development and identifying future partnership opportunities Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience managing multiple policy, research or stakeholder engagement projects Experience working with universities, research organisations, membership bodies or the public sector Strong research and analytical skills, with experience producing evidence-based reports and recommendations Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage a wide range of stakeholders Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities Experience facilitating workshops, engagement events or collaborative working groups would be advantageous
