Posting and Packing Volunteer

Our charity funds around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases, stroke, vascular dementia, diabetes – they’re all connected and under our microscope. Volunteers help us fund lifesaving science to improve the lives of families and loved ones living with heart and circulatory disease. Volunteering with us is easy, flexible, and inclusive.

If you can spare a few hours a week or a couple of hours occasionally, we’d love you to join our volunteer team.

In our online sales team you will research the desirability and value of the items donated to our charity shops. No prior knowledge is required; we provide the tools you need. All that is needed is an eagerness to learn about the items and to help us secure the best possible price to fund life‑saving research.

• Identify items and pieces that would appeal to an online buyer.
• Search online to find the current market value and ensure BHF obtains the best possible price.

• A 25 % discount on donated goods and a 10 % discount on new goods in our shops.

Volunteer positions are unpaid. Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older and have no unspent criminal convictions.
