Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader Hrly role at H&R Block
. This role provides leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and focuses on leading customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time January–April, including evenings and weekends. This role is in-person, not remote.
- Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and deliver outstanding client experience while achieving growth objectives.
- Lead the development and performance of associates across offices; conduct daily team meetings; manage work schedules and timekeeping; liaise with the District General Manager to create growth plans.
- Recruiting and interviewing for tax office positions; resolve associate issues in partnership with the Associate Relations Center.
- Travel between offices as required; prepare tax returns as needed after completing required coursework.
- People management experience with ability to grow and develop associates; strong decision-making and communication skills; customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to lead growth plan execution and foster a growth culture; proficiency in MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with related experience; completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
