Description Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Join a small but growing restoration company where you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions and helping support continued growth. This position offers a collaborative team environment, stability, and a strong work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and cash applications

- Reconcile bank, credit card, and expense accounts

- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records

- Prepare month-end and year-end close activities

- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting

- Prepare and review financial statements, P& L reports, and other management reports

- Prepare, review, and post journal entries

- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting efforts

- Maintain vendor and customer records

- Assist with audit, tax, and insurance documentation as needed

- Provide administrative support and occasional receptionist/front-desk coverage, including answering phones and greeting visitors

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

- Full-charge bookkeeping experience highly desired

- Strong understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and general accounting principles

- Experience preparing financial statements and P& L reporting preferred

- Experience with journal entries and expense reconciliations is a plus

- Proficiency with Quick Books accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

- Insurance restoration, construction, or restoration industry experience is a plus, but not required

- Degree not required; relevant experience and demonstrated accounting knowledge are valued
