Forklift Operator D Shift; Haltom DC)

Forklift Operator D Shift Wednesday-Saturday 5:30pm-4:00am $22.30 Haltom City does not do rehires at this time Forklift Operators is a position responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include but are not limited to Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from
-10 to 34 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts). Must be able and willing to stand throughout 10–12-hour shifts. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Must have 12 months of stand-up forklift experience in the last 3 years listed in work history. Cold Warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to meet minimum productivity percentage. Must be able to continuously pick up to 40 lbs. Must be willing to train for and pass forklift license training, as well as read and understand to operate RF equipment. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given. Must be willing to learn other duties. Proficiency in reading and writing. ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
