Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manager, Quality System Compliance, who will be responsible for the administration of the Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100D requirements and continuously improving the quality of Military Landing Gear suppliers, products, and processes.
- Support Associate Director, Quality — Military Landing Gear in the overall management and administration of the QMS to ensure compliance with AS9100D, Government, and Collins requirements.
- Manage and participate in the Internal Audit process including schedule creation, preparation, release and tracking of AS9100/Product/Process audits.
- Manage all 2nd and 3rd party QMS audits and issue and track all resulting corrective actions to closure.
- Review audit results, coordinate post audit activities, assign corrective actions, and follow-up activities for effectiveness.
- Manage the Corrective Action System from issuance and tracking of implementation to final closure.
- Distribute weekly Corrective Action reports to all process owners to drive timely completion of all tasks.
- Manage the QMS document control process for the Fort Worth site and create new and revise Quality work instructions.
- Evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS of business sites, and programs.
- Works with other functions to ensure systems are compliant, efficient, and can deliver to customer requirements.
- Provide training and administrative support for QMS quality digital systems for document management, corrective action, and audit management for all Fort Worth employees.
- Participate in the LS Quality Compliance Focal Group team meetings and task activities (i.e. One Collins initiatives).
- Provide effective communication and training to the site and team members related to QMS compliance and Collins QMS initiatives.
- Support Landing Systems Quality Leadership in the flow down of Policy Deployment initiatives that impact the QMS.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience in Quality System Compliance or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality System Compliance.
- Experience auditing procedures and processes in AS9100 environment.
- IAQG sanctioned AS9100D auditor certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Defense/Military Programs, DCMA &/or Governmental Regulatory Requirements (Military background would be a plus).
- Experience working with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, matrix reporting organization.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD – 203,000 USD.
