Role and Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Bookkeeping:
- Oversee and manage basic bookkeeping and general accounting functions.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
- Maintain banking relationships and perform online banking transactions.
- Support credit management and collections efforts.
- Collaborate with company leadership on budgeting and financial reporting.
- Human Resources & Payroll Administration:
- Administer bi-weekly payroll processing via ADP.
- Manage employee benefits administration and support annual enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee and HR recordkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and established procedures.
- Office Operations & Supervision:
- Provide general office management support to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in an Office Management, Bookkeeping, or similar administrative/financial role.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven multitasking and complex problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Required:
- Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop (Accounting/General Ledger).
- Experience administering payroll and HR functions using a platform like ADP.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Online Banking platforms.
- Preferred:
- Experience with a manufacturing ERP/MRP software is a plus.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
