Site Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman, Civil Engineering
Welcome to Sweeney, an all-in-one site development contractor serving public and private projects throughout Connecticut. Our capabilities include site development, excavation, concrete foundation construction, demolition, asphalt paving, underground utilities, soil augmentation, and aggregate manufacturing.
We specialize in geotechnically challenging projects where field experience and problem-solving matter. On-site rock can be processed into usable construction aggregate, while difficult soils can be augmented for reuse rather than removed and replaced.
As a civil construction site superintendent, you will help oversee projects from start to finish while coordinating crews, equipment, materials, schedules, and field operations. This position requires an experienced construction professional who can provide direction, respond to changing jobsite conditions, and keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
About The PositionThe construction superintendent serves as a key field leader responsible for coordinating day-to-day jobsite operations. You will work closely with project managers and field personnel to keep work aligned with project plans, specifications, and schedules. The role also requires monitoring site conditions, communicating concerns to project leadership, and helping address issues that could affect safety, quality, productivity, or overall project progress.
