Supervise front line staff in all functions associated with the teller line. The position has personal referral and balancing goals as well as the responsibility to ensure all employees reporting to them meet their referral and balancing goals. The Head Telleris responsible for ensuring the entire branch remains in balance and is able to pass any internal or external audits that may take place.

The position requires strong sales, service, and leadership skills. The Head Tellerworks with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to develop strategies for reaching all branch goals and coaching and developing branch staff.

• - Coaches Member Service Representatives on referral techniques and strategies
• - Delivers superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines
• - Utilizes problem solving skills and thinks independently to resolve member issues
• - Meets goals consistently and contributes to the fulfillment of all Connex Credit Union goals
• - Projects a professional and friendly image at all times including a positive attitude, composure and a clear, energetic and welcoming speaking voice

• - 2 - 3 years banking experience
• - Associate’s degree required or equivalent work experience
• - Ability to effectively coach employees
• - Ability to accurately manage a cash drawer
• - Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
• - Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment
• - Strong communication and sales skills
• - High degree of responsibility and integrity
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• - Continued education through selected training courses
• - Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.
