Universa Care is hiring a live-in caregiver to provide care to clients in their own homes in New Haven County. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our Universa Care of Connecticut - Hamden office at 119 Sanford Street, 2nd Floor, Hamden, CT 06514.
Pay: $255.45 to $275 per day.
Schedule: Part-time and full-time.
What you’ll do- Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
- Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
- Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
- Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
- Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

- Referral bonus: earn $250 for each caregiver you refer once they complete their first 100 hours
- Tuition assistance after 2,500 hours worked with Universa Care, for approved programs that advance your career (amount set case by case)
