The Audiovisual Infrastructure team is responsible for AV technology in more than 250 classrooms, dozens of conference rooms, and a wide variety of specialized spaces across the university. These environments range from traditional classrooms and large lecture halls to active learning labs, courtrooms, boardrooms, athletic facilities, an arena, and sports stadiums. As a technology-forward institution, all teaching and meeting spaces are configured as Zoom Rooms, making the Zoom platform a central component of the university's AV ecosystem.

The AV Systems Administrator is a key member of the team responsible for the maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of the university's audiovisual infrastructure. This position ensures the reliability and performance of AV systems used daily by faculty, staff, students, and visitors while helping deliver exceptional technology experiences across campus.

In addition to maintaining existing AV environments, the AV Systems Administrator supports university events that require supplemental audiovisual equipment or support in locations without permanent AV installations. The role also contributes to the planning, design, engineering, and implementation of new AV initiatives, including technology refresh projects, renovations, and new construction.
