About the Role

This is a trusted role managing the full accounts function including AP/AR, weekly payroll, job costing accuracy, cashflow forecasting, and month‑end reporting. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure financial clarity across all projects, ensuring costs are allocated correctly across Xero and Procore whilst supporting both day‑to‑day operations and forward planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy against quotes, purchase orders and job budgets
• Process weekly payroll, including PAYE, leave, timesheets and compliance obligations
• Work closely with QS and project teams to maintain up‑to‑date and accurate job costs
• Complete month‑end reconciliations and reporting
• Use Procore and Smooth link to verify budgets, quotes and progress claims
• Prepare and maintain cashflow forecasts

About You

You’re an experienced accounts professional with strong Xero capability, exposure to cashflow forecasting with a high level of accuracy and organisation. Comfortable working autonomously and to deadlines, you communicate clearly, handle confidential information with integrity and stay calm under pressure.

Ideally you will have experience in construction or job‑based costing, understand NZ construction billing processes and are familiar with Procore and/or Smooth link. You’re proactive, reliable and a collaborative team player who takes pride in supporting a growing business.
