Position: Hands-On Junior Accountant Role
Exciting Junior Accountant position available in a privately held group focused on HVAC distribution and real estate. This in-office role offers broad exposure to accounting across multiple entities, ideal for your career growth.

As a Junior Accountant, you'll play a crucial part in the financial operations of several related businesses. With 1-3 years of accounting experience, you will handle A/P processes, monitor bank accounts, and perform reconciliations in a challenging, hands-on role. Your attention to detail will help manage high transaction volumes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices for timely payments

• Monitor and reconcile over 13 bank accounts daily

• Post and track tenant rents, record loans monthly

• Manage foreign exchange purchases and reconciliations

• Prepare tax provisions and WSIB reporting accurately

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance

• 1-3 years of accounts receivable/general accounting experience

• Experience with ERP accounting software

• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting

• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
