Staff Accountant

Position: Full-Time Staff Accountant
Join DBK Accounting Professional Corporation as a full-time Staff Accountant in Hamilton, ON. Utilize your accounting skills to support audits, tax preparation, and client management in a hybrid work environment.

As a Staff Accountant reporting to the Managing Partner, you will apply generally accepted accounting principles to deliver exceptional service to our diverse clients.

Your role meets various needs including audit management, tax filings, and client support while ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage audits, reviews, and compilation engagements

• Prepare T1, T2 tax filings and T4, T5 summaries

• Complete T3010 filings and identify necessary inclusions

• Assist clients with bookkeeping and software issues

• Handle multiple engagements efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 1-2 years of accounting firm experience preferred

• Experience with Caseware and Taxprep ideal

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
