Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk at City
Enhance your accounting skills with the City of Hamilton as an Accounts Receivable Processing Clerk. This up to 24-month role focuses on invoice processing and customer account management.

In this position, you will report to the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Billing & Collections Administrator. Key responsibilities include processing manual and electronic invoices, maintaining customer profiles in the ERP database, and reconciling account balances. Your work will directly impact operations through diligent record management and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and adjustments efficiently

• Maintain and secure customer records in the ERP database

• Balance and reconcile cash clearing and suspense accounts

• Address customer inquiries regarding accounts and balances

• Support staff with accounts receivable-related issues

Requirements:

• Experience with business accounting concepts

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Understanding of customer service principles

• Net Suite Financial system knowledge is a plus
