Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator
Hamilton, Ontario
Summary:
The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and input of invoices into the accounting system on a timely basis for development operations.
- Three-way matching of invoices
- Complete monthly vendor reconciliations
- Contact vendors regarding outstanding balances and issues
- Provide Accounts Receivable backup support
- Perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required
- A minimum 1–2-year AP experience with a large ERP (preferably JDE)
- Practical experience and knowledge of 3-way match
- AP experience within construction industry is an asset
- A highly motivated, team player with excellent organizational skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships internally within all areas of the GIP team and externally with vendors
- Able to prioritize and handle large volumes meeting all required deadlines
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
- Expected Base Salary: $42,000.00 – $56,000.00 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
- Target Hiring Rate: $50,000.00 for suitable skill sets
