Position: Accountant Role at Johnson Electric
Maximize your accounting skills as an Onsite Accountant for Johnson Electric in Ancaster, ON. This position emphasizes financial oversight and monthly reporting for manufacturing operations.

As a key member at Johnson Electric, you will manage financial statement analysis, enforce internal controls, and oversee plant performance reporting. With responsibilities including journal entries, accrual postings, and customer reconciliations, your role is critical for accurate financial operations at the Ancaster Plant #2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial control and report on plant performance

• Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals

• Manage fixed asset register and accounts receivable invoices

• Complete full-cycle month-end closings on a tight schedule

• Collaborate with plant Quality team for vendor invoicing

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing

• Degree in Business or Accounting; CPA pursuit preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls

• Proficiency with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
