General Ledger Accountant Opportunity

Take on the General Ledger Accountant position based in Hamilton, ON. Play a vital role in journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and financial compliance.

In this position, you will ensure the accuracy of our general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and post accurate journal entries

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts each month

• Engage in month-end and year-end closes

• Analyze and explain P&L and balance sheet variances

• Maintain fixed asset records and schedules

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2-5+ years of related accounting experience

• Familiarity with ERP systems and spreadsheet software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
