Elevate your accounting career with Johnson Electric as an Accountant located in Ancaster, ON, focusing on comprehensive financial oversight in a manufacturing environment.
As our Accountant, you'll engage in vital tasks such as financial statement preparation, month-end closing processes, and cost management initiatives. The position will foster collaboration with both the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate financial health across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage financial statement reporting and KPI alignments
• Conduct monthly closings including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and oversee internal control compliance
• Maintain asset records and monitor aged balances
• Support audit activities and documentation requirements
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; CPA candidates preferred
• Proficient with Excel and internal controls
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
