Construction Project Accountant Role

As you report to the Director of Finance and Accounting, you will engage actively with Project Managers to ensure accurate budgets, effective cost controls, and timely billing practices across multiple projects. Your insights will guide project reviews and forecasting, enabling the company to maintain its standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PMs on budget development and updates

• Conduct financial reporting and prepare variance analysis

• Review subcontractor invoices for compliance and accuracy

• Maintain project documentation and manage change orders

• Support financial analysis for special projects

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of accounting experience in construction

• Strong grasp of WIP and percentage-of-completion metrics

• Advanced proficiency with Excel and ERP systems

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills

• Relevant education in accounting or finance
