Join DJB Chartered Professional Accountants as a Tax Manager in Hamilton, Niagara, or Burlington. This permanent, full-time position prioritizes tax engagement management, compliance, and staff mentorship, with a hybrid setup available after three months.

As a Tax Manager, you will take charge of leading engagements in various tax areas including estate and business succession planning. Candidates must have a CPA designation and at least 5 years of experience, focusing on Canadian income tax within public accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate reorganizations and M&A tax planning

• Approve individual and corporate compliance filings

• Develop proactive tax recommendations for clients

• Mentor junior team members while managing workflow

• Participate in client meetings to address tax issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years in public accounting or related fields

• CPA designation essential

• Familiarity with Canadian income taxation required

• Completion of CPA In-Depth Tax Course or equivalent

• Experience with cross-border tax issues is a plus
