Bookkeeper
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, in-office
Salary: $30.00-$33.00/hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Burlington. This company is established contractor in the HVAC service industry. This is a long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including sales, banking activities, payroll expenses, and purchases.
Utilize accounting and spreadsheet software to maintain financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Ensure financial activities and reporting comply with applicable tax, payroll, and foreign currency regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments.
Oversee accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and support budget planning and forecasting.
Requirements 3-5 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
An effective written and verbal communicator
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment
Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
A self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys learning
Comfortable working with accounting/bookkeeping systems
