Financial Coordinator Faculty of Engineering

Coordinate university finances at McMaster University’s Faculty of Engineering using accounting expertise, financial analysis, and reconciliation skills on Central Campus.

This full-time Financial Coordinator (I) appointment requires four years of relevant experience and an accounting diploma. You will coordinate financial data, apply policies, process transactions, and support accurate reporting. The work includes budgets, audits, reconciliations, financial systems, and guidance for others.

• Coordinate financial data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting
• Process invoices, purchase orders, payables, receivables, and payroll
• Develop budgets, projections, adjustments, and scheduled reports
• Prepare audit files and respond to auditor inquiries
• Reconcile accounts, statements, cash receipts, and financial records

• Two-year community college diploma in accounting or related field
• Four years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Accuracy, discretion, professionalism, and confidential-information handling
