Job SummaryAssist the campus manager in the smooth functioning of the campus by providing administrative support to visitors, students, instructors and other staff of CIMT College. Responsible for front desk administration, greeting people coming into campus, directing them to the appropriate contacts or services, and providing general information in person and by phone.
Working Hours – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 8:45 am to 6 pm and Saturdays occasionally.
Education and Experience- Completion of secondary school required.
- 3+ years of Canadian administration experience.
- 1+ year of work experience in administration in an Ontario Career College is preferred.
- Strong Administrative Skills and Operational Management: Oversee campus operations, student records, class schedules, and compliance with OSAP and MCU regulations.
- Strong Customer Service & Communication
Skills:
Interact with students, faculty, and external stakeholders. - Student Services and Engagement/Management: Support student inquiries, handle grievances, and enhance student experience.
- Technology & Compliance: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, student information systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Involvement working independently and in an administration team.
- Flexible – ability to adapt to changes and work in schedules assigned by the campus manager.
- Strong multitasking ability and willingness to take on additional tasks.
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Customer Service:
Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently. - Resolving student concerns related to schedules, fee payments, etc., in conjunction with the campus manager.
- Assist students with schedules and coordinate with the scheduling department to ensure timely completion of courses/programs.
- Administration:
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems; maintain student records and record management. - Administer candidates for testing centers.
- Assist in smooth functioning of the institute in evenings and weekends and in the campus manager’s absence.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Determine and establish office procedures.
- Open and close the campus as required.
- Compile data, statistics and other information to support the campus manager.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the campus manager.
- Compliance and Regulatory:
Adhere to all CIMT College policies and procedures; comply with regulatory standards set by the Ministry of Training for Colleges and Universities and the OCC Act, 2005.
