Join the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University as an Administrative Assistant II in a hybrid role. This position allows you to manage office support, faculty coordination, and financial operations effectively.
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to support our Rheumatology division within Pediatrics. You will collaborate with clinical faculty and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include calendar management, billing processes, event coordination, and data tracking, all in an academic medical environment dedicated to children's health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate office operations within the Pediatrics department
• Manage calendars and schedule meetings for clinical faculty
• Prepare financial forms and reconcile departmental budgets
• Organize events such as workshops and seminars
• Maintain activity tracking databases for faculty and staff
Requirements:
• College diploma in office administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant administrative experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Share Point
• Familiar with event coordination and financial processing
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
