Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hamilton, ON, for a Front Desk/Reception representative at Centre[3]. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing essential administrative support. The role also involves maintaining a welcoming and professional environment, as well as promoting Centre[3] programming and events to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and manage front desk inquiries

Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally

Provide administrative and scheduling support

Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area

Maintain and update the Centre[3] calendar, including events and bookings

Support event coordination and on-site logistics

Assist with internal communication and information flow

Support social media communication and coordination

Capture basic photo and video content for social media (events, activities, behind-the-scenes)

Qualifications

Strong phone etiquette and proficiency in receptionist duties, including scheduling and managing communications

Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with the public effectively

Proficiency in computer literacy, including experience with office software and scheduling tools

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic environment

A passion for the arts and an understanding of the principles of community engagement and social practice are assets

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
