The ideal candidate for this Admitting and Communication Clerk position will manage patient intake and facilitate clear communication within the hospital. Successful applicants should have strong analytical skills and a background in electronic medical charting, such as EPIC.
Your role will include maintaining accurate records and filing systems to support efficient hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage admissions and record-keeping tasks with attention to detail
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and organization
• Identify and rectify errors in documentation and communication
• Maintain meticulous filing systems and electronic databases
• Provide clear communication across all organizational levels
Requirements:
• Medical Office Administration/Terminology training is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience in electronic charting systems like EPIC preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
