Join Extendicare Hamilton as a Temporary Full-Time Scheduling and Attendance Coordinator. You'll manage staffing schedules and ensure quality resident care through timely shift coverage.
In this vital role, you will report to the Operations Manager and oversee employee work schedules at our senior care facility. Your responsibilities will include tracking time and attendance, covering unfilled shifts, and providing administrative support to clinical leadership.
Experience with software like Workday is essential for success in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain work schedules for all facility departments
• Manage vacant schedules and absentee replacements
• Coordinate staff coverage for unfilled shifts
• Validate and submit employee hours for payroll
• Assist with leave administration processes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in office administration or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of HR, payroll, and scheduling practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
