Extendicare is seeking a dedicated individual to maintain employee schedules and manage attendance tracking at its Hamilton LTC facility. As Scheduling and Attendance Coordinator, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure operational efficiency. This position includes coordinating employee shifts, addressing absences, and preparing payroll submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign staff work schedules across departments
• Manage coverage for employee absences and unfilled shifts
• Validate hours worked for payroll accuracy
• Assist with new resident and nursing supply management
• Conduct Health and Safety meetings and manage incident reports
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in business or related field
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care environment
• Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Knowledge of HR and Occupational Health & Safety
