As a Nursing Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for the coordination of staffing within the Nursing Department. Your tasks include updating the Master Schedule, managing attendance records, and ensuring that staffing needs are met effectively. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with residents and the director effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily staffing assignments and replacements
• Update and maintain the Master Schedule accurately
• Monitor attendance and report absenteeism to management
• Ensure safety for residents, visitors, and staff
• Secure approval for any overtime work required
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent necessary
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written English skills
• Current CPR certification may be required
