In your role as a Patient Care Unit Clerk, you will facilitate seamless patient care by managing administrative functions for the Acute Psychiatry Unit. You'll serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, maintain accurate patient records, and support unit operations through effective scheduling. Ideal candidates possess a solid understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee reception duties and manage patient inquiries

• Input patient data into the Electronic Health Record system

• Manage documentation related to admissions and discharges

• Produce reports and maintain unit activity statistics

• Schedule staff shifts and coordinate training sessions

Requirements:

• 2-year diploma in Office Administration - Health Services

• 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite

• Proficient keyboarding skills, minimum 35 wpm

• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
