Examination Room Invigilator

Support orderly examinations at McMaster University through room setup, student monitoring, and careful handling of exam materials. Customer service experience is preferred.

As an Invigilator, you will prepare examination rooms and monitor students according to established procedures. You will distribute, collect, and collate materials, administer sign-ins, answer inquiries, and help ensure examination regulations are followed. The work includes prolonged standing, walking, paperwork handling, and monitoring.

• Set up examination rooms according to established procedures
• Distribute, collect, and collate examination materials
• Monitor students and escort them as required
• Administer student sign-ins and complete incident reports
• Respond to inquiries using established guidelines

• Prior customer service experience is preferred
• Ability to ensure adherence to examination regulations
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to handle paperwork for prolonged periods
• Ability to monitor students for prolonged periods
