Responsibilities- Managing acquired inventory from purchase to sale completion—owning the full sales lifecycle.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders and management teams at new car stores to secure premium inventory opportunities.
- Using data and market insights (vAuto, dealership analytics, and competitive pricing tools) to make profitable, strategic buying decisions.
- Thriving in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment while maintaining a disciplined buying approach.
- Communicating confidently with dealership teams and leadership—over‑communication is a plus.
- Ensuring inventory moves quickly to support the company’s 85‑90% sell‑through rate every 30 days.
- 2+ years of pre‑owned vehicle purchasing experience with a proven track record of profitability.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills—knowing the true value of a vehicle before purchase.
- Experience working with senior leadership and management teams at franchise dealerships to acquire inventory.
- High‑pressure work ethic—thriving in fast‑paced, competitive environments.
- Expertise in dealership systems and processes (vAuto, buy‑to‑sale strategy, reconditioning, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills—confidence in negotiating, influencing, and closing deals.
- A disciplined buying mindset—growth is important, but profitability is the priority.
