Overview
Project Coordinator responsible for providing overall administrative and technical expertise required to support a large scale construction project across Hamilton, ON.
Responsibilities- Support the Superintendent and Project Manager in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements.
- Advise on potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems.
- Interface with project team, subcontractors and related third parties.
- Assist in managing work on‑site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Monitor work performance to ensure safety, quality control, and adherence to project rules and procedures.
- Maintain and analyze up‑to‑date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Meet with Owners and Consultants, communicating concerns and best interests of the company.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
- Preferred A EIT or CET designation.
- 2 years of construction experience.
- Experience on MTO road construction projects desired.
- Experience in AFP/P3 Design‑Build projects an asset.
- Exposure to all aspects of road and bridge building.
- Results‑driven, outcome‑focused, critical thinker with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent prioritization and resourcefulness.
- Base salary $40,000 – $65,000 per year.
