Construction​/Landscaping Labourer

Experienced Site Labourer | Outdoor Construction & Landscaping

Our client, a growing construction and landscaping company, is seeking experienced Construction / Landscaping Labourers who are familiar with site operations and can effectively use hand tools and equipment while working in an outdoor environment.

Up to $25.00 per hour based on experience.

• Perform general construction and landscaping labour duties on active job sites
• Assist with site preparation, including grading, digging, trenching, leveling, and clean‑up
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials safely and efficiently
• Support crews with hardscaping, landscaping, drainage, excavation, and general site work
• Operate hand tools, power tools, compact equipment, and basic construction equipment safely
• Read and follow site instructions from supervisors and equipment operators
• Work alongside skilled tradespeople and construction crews to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment
• Perform physically demanding work in outdoor weather conditions year‑round

• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, excavation, concrete, or outdoor labour positions
• Comfortable using shovels, wheelbarrows, compactors, levels, and general construction tools properly and efficiently
• Understanding of grading, trenching, site preparation, and material movement
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once tasks are assigned
• Strong work ethic with the ability to keep pace on active job sites
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift
• Strong awareness of job site safety practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation considered a strong asset

• Previous outdoor construction or landscaping experience required
• CSA‑approved safety boots required
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Comfortable working long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive physical labour including lifting, digging, and material handling
