About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a well-established industrial contractor specializing in insulation and specialty services across complex industrial environments. With a strong reputation for precision, safety, and quality execution, this organization delivers projects across sectors including energy, petrochemical, power generation, and heavy industrial.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Estimator / Project Manager to play a key role in both pre-construction and project delivery.

You will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates while also managing awarded projects from start to finish. This role requires both strong analytical capability and confident client‑facing communication.
Key Responsibilities- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to define full scope
- Identify risks, exclusions, and clarifications within bids
- Source and evaluate supplier and vendor pricing
- Maintain and improve historical cost databases
- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional bid submissions
- Conduct post-bid analysis to refine estimating strategies
- Manage projects from award through close‑out
- Develop and track schedules, budgets, and manpower plans
- Act as the primary client contact during execution
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and materials
- Monitor costs and proactively address variances
- Conduct site visits and progress assessments
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client standards
- Diploma or certificate in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering Technology (or related field)
- Equivalent combination of education and industry experience considered
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specs, and P&IDs
- Previous estimating experience within construction or industrial sectors preferred
- Knowledge of insulation systems or specialty contracting is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Effective communicator with client‑facing confidence
- Proficiency with estimating tools and project software
- Self‑starter with strong accountability and teamwork mindset
