Experienced Site Superintendent

Magil Construction is hiring a Site Superintendent based in Hamilton, Ontario, to support multifaceted projects in commercial and institutional settings. Manage a range of projects, emphasizing safety and quality.

This role is for a proactive leader who will be directly involved in overseeing various projects, including renovations and fit-outs. You will communicate effectively with employees, subcontractors, and the management team while ensuring all site activities align with safety standards. Flexibility is important, as work hours may extend into evenings or after hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the primary contact for site personnel and stakeholders

• Carry out oversight of multiple projects effectively

• Ensure completion of work safety and quality

• Report project developments and obstacles to management

• Adapt to fluctuating project needs and site conditions

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of supervisory experience in site management

• Strong decision-making skills

• Excellent communication abilities

• Willingness to travel between job sites

• Flexibility to work extended hours if required
