We are looking for a Residential Landscape Coordinator & Junior Designer to join our team and help lead residential landscape construction projects from planning through completion.
What the Role Looks Like
The Residential Landscape Coordinator & Junior Designer manages the transition of projects from initial concept to physical completion. This hybrid role combines project administration, material procurement, on-site coordination, and hands-on design for small-scale residential projects. You will serve as a connection between clients, field crews, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
Position Details
Position Type:
Full-Time, Permanent.
Compensation: $65,000.00 per year.
Benefits:
Comprehensive health/dental benefits after 3 months;
Company RRSP contributions after 1 year.
Location:
Hamilton, ON.
Working Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (occasional evening meetings, site visits, client events, or other business-related activities may be required).

Key Responsibilities
Material Procurement: Source and purchase all plants, aggregates, hardscape products, and project materials.
Purchase Orders: Generate, track, and reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) for vendors and subcontractors.
Logistics: Coordinate daily material deliveries and equipment rentals to match crew schedules.
On-Site Support: Visit active job sites to verify material accuracy, quality, and progress.
Estimating & Small-Scale Design
Project Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates, takeoffs, and proposals for small to medium residential projects.
Landscape Design: Create functional layout plans, planting schedules, and material palettes for smaller client requests.
Client Consultation: Assist with homeowner communications to review design concepts, material options, and budget estimates.
What We re Looking For
Education:
Diploma or degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in residential landscape construction, estimating, or coordination.
Software
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Driver s License: Valid Ontario G license with a clean driving abstract.
