In this essential role, reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will collaborate closely with clients and field staff. Key responsibilities include interpreting drawings, submitting accurate tenders, and performing cost analysis for ongoing projects. Your experience in the construction industry will be crucial for mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement within the estimating department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute accurate quantity take-offs from drawings
• Formulate and provide tender submissions for various projects
• Analyze ongoing project costs and provide evaluations
• Maintain communication with clients and field teams
• Assist in estimating process improvements and standards
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology
• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of municipal works and MTO contracts
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
