This role requires a motivated individual with over five years of construction safety experience. You will be responsible for inspections, safety audits, and training programs, ensuring timely reporting and completion of action items. The position supports the safety culture of the organization while adhering to local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and enforce a positive safety culture daily
• Conduct inspections and incident investigations
• Provide safety training as required
• Communicate compliance issues to management promptly
• Maintain records of audits, inspections, and training
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience
• Recognized safety certifications preferred
• Knowledge of Ontario Construction Regulations
• Familiarity with industrial hygiene best practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety databases
