Enhance safety measures as a Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor at Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario. Engage directly with field operations to effectively manage and mitigate risks in construction.
As a pivotal member of the HSE team, this role involves conducting on-site risk assessments and collaborating on best practices for high-risk tasks in the construction field. You will actively participate in fostering a culture of awareness and safety excellence, ensuring compliance across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing site observations for new hazards
• Collaborate in assessing high-risk task safety
• Recommend and implement hazard control measures
• Act as the primary HSE representative on-site
• Facilitate safety briefings and toolbox talks
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Health and Safety required
• 5+ years of experience in construction safety
• CM IOSH Certification necessary
• Valid driver’s license mandatory
• Bilingual candidates in French and English advantageous
