Drive safety initiatives as a Safety Coordinator with The State Group in Hamilton, Ontario. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance and fostering a positive safety culture across job sites.
With over five years of construction safety experience, you will be responsible for conducting safety audits, managing inspections, and facilitating training sessions.
Your role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders and ensuring that all operations adhere to established safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine safety audits and training
• Ensure timely completion of inspections and investigations
• Support stakeholders with compliance requirements
• Document all inspection results and action items
• Address unsafe conditions immediately and effectively
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of construction safety experience
• Relevant safety certifications or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Ontario's construction regulations
• Expertise in industrial hygiene practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems
