Contracts Administrator for Aecon's Projects

In this role, you will be integral to Aecon's Civil team, known for its leadership in infrastructure development across Canada and internationally. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of experience in commercial management, excellent negotiation skills, and a degree in Legal, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. Support major projects by minimizing risks and ensuring all contractual deliverables are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage contractual issues for project delivery teams
• Oversee change management and claims administration
• Administer contractor filing systems and project contracts
• Support procurement planning and competitive tendering
• Collaborate with legal advisors on contract matters
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in large-scale project contracting
• Degree in Legal, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying preferred
• Strong understanding of construction law and project operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills
